Description: The most significant advantage of the SFC is its detector. The CMOS camera is so much faster than PMTs. It will acquire images faster than the A1 or the LSM 900. Image resolution with the SFC will be lower, though. The SFC is also straightforward to use.
One CMOS camera
Four different lasers: 405, 488, 561, 640 nm
Objectives: 10x, 20x, 60x (oil), 100x (oil)
With the A1, you can do the following:
Z stack
Large image/Tiling
Movies
Memorize different positions of your sample
Fluorescent capacities for epifluorescent (DAPI, FITC, TRITC), to locate no imaging
Operates on the NIS AR element software
