Calling all TWU graduate and undergraduate students, staff, and faculty from the School of the Sciences (SotS), we want to see your science through your photos!
Submit up to three original photos that capture the beauty, complexity, or creativity of science in action. Whether it's a striking lab moment, images captured using any of our instruments, a fieldwork snapshot (no faces on photos), or a clever visual metaphor, we welcome your perspective.
Deadline: September 22
Prizes: The top three entries will be selected by SotS faculty and staff and awarded cool prizes during our Celebration of Science event (October 16)!
Let’s celebrate science together with this friendly competition and creative expression. It is also an excellent opportunity to showcase your work.
Best of luck to all participants!

At Texas Woman's University, we believe knowledge should be available to all. As a result, our faculty and staff cultivate an environment that emphasizes learning and academic excellence.
Over the years, our Biology Department has acquired high-tech instruments to develop excellent research projects and teach exciting courses like research methods and molecular biology. In 2020, we moved to a new top-notch research building (Sciences Research Commons) where our students and staff can use all our high-tech equipment like several confocal microscopes, Intuvo-9000 Mass Spectrometry (Agilent), MiSeq, IncuCyte (Sartorius), Flow Cytometer (Beckman), and many more. Visit our webpage to learn more about our equipment.
